Frequently asked questions
Returning your used cartridges is simple and part of our closed-loop system 🌍♻️. Here's how:
✅ Once you've installed your last new cartridge, it's time to send the used ones back.
✅ Every package (except for the UK) includes a prepaid FedEx return label. Just place the used cartridges back in the box, attach the label, and either:
- Call your local FedEx courier to schedule a pickup, or
- Drop the package off at your nearest FedEx location.

Stopping the fibers from going down the drain and into the environment is only the first step. We offer a circular service and by returning the used cartridges you help us close the loop.
All returned cartridges are refurbished and used again.
This way we greatly reduce the waste that would otherwise be generated, and greatly improve product sustainability.
To ensure safe and secure shipping:
- Place the used cartridges in their original box to keep them secure.
- If the original box is unavailable, use a sturdy alternative.
- Seal the box securely with tape.
- Attach the prepaid shipping label provided, making sure it is clearly visible.

Yes! Return shipping is always free, regardless of your location. Simply request a prepaid shipping label, and we’ll cover the costs.
If you’re on a PlanetCare Auto-Refill Subscription or have a PlanetCare Starter Kit GOEasy, we’ll automatically send you new cartridges when you create a return label. No need to worry about running out—we’ve got you covered!
No. You should not open or attempt to renew the cartridge in any way as this will result in the release of captured fibres. The filtering media cannot be renewed and must be professionally removed, disposed in a controlled way and replaced before a cartridge can be used again.
