Is the PlanetCare 2.0 filter compatible with my washing machine?

YES! Our filter works with all washing machine types: front-loaders, top-loaders, HE models, standard machines, and washer-dryer combos.

Note: With washer-dryer combos, cartridges may need replacing more often than the usual 30 washes due to higher workload.

How do I install the filter?

No plumber needed!

Installation is easier than assembling IKEA furniture - anyone can do it in about 10 minutes (plus 24 hours for the adhesive to set).

You only need the washing machine drain hose – no hot or cold water inlet connection is needed.

Where should I install the filter? What if I don't have enough space?

The filter is incredibly flexible!

Install it outside your washing machine, connected to the drain hose. You can place it:
• On the side or back of your washing machine
• On a nearby cupboard or shelf
• On the wall
• On the floor
• Under a sink
• Anywhere your drain hose can reach

Tight on space? No problem!
The filter is compact, making it perfect for small laundry areas, closets, or tight corners.

What are the filter dimensions?

Height × Width × Depth:

That's roughly the size of a large cereal box.

How much space do I need for installation?

• 13 cm (5") of space beside your washing machine
• 60 cm (24") height clearance above the filter for comfortable cartridge changes

Contact us! The filter works in virtually any position - floor, tucked in corners. Most laundry areas have more options than you'd think.

How does the return system (Closed Loop) work? Does it cost extra? Does it work everywhere?

Our Closed Loop system is completely free - postage is prepaid and works from all locations.

How it works:
1. Send used cartridges back in the provided packaging.
2. We clean and refurbish reusable parts.
3. Captured microfibers are recycled into insulation, concrete reinforcement, or furniture.
4. Nothing goes to landfills or incinerators!

Does the filter work with pet hair?

YES! Our filters capture pet hair effectively. However, pet hair can clog the filter faster.

Our PlanetCare 2.0 includes a bypass - activate it when washing items heavily covered in pet hair or when washing natural fibers.
